Wailua River State Park

    Wailua River State Park is on the eastern coast of Kauai. Wailua River State Park is an experience of both nature and cultural in and around the Wailua River. The Wailua River begins at the crater summit of Wai'ale'ale and runs all the way to the ocean on the eastern Coconut Coast of Kauai. Several forks in the Wailua River lead to picture perfect waterfalls. The Wailua River is a slow gentle river with little current, and is perfect for site seeing Kayaking. The Wailua River is the only navigable river on the island of Kauai, you can see boats, kayaks, outrigger canoes, and even ski boats traveling along the river.
